The new Deus Ex has been unveiled by both US and Russian sources, as the initial batch of screenshots leak out early.
American mag Game Informer has confirmed that the sequel to Deus Ex: Human Revolution is called Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, and it’ll be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
There’s no release date yet though, and it’s unclear whether the game will be released this year and how it links with the previous announced Deus Ex Universe.

The game will once again cast you as the cybernetically augmented Adam Jensen, who is now working for Interpol and helping to track down cyborg terrorists – against a backdrop of increasing fear and hatred towards ‘transhumans’ in general.
According to Game Informer Jensen will have a range of new augmentations that help improve his stealth and combat options, including ‘the ability to remote hack electronic objects, fire off his nano blade from a distance, and surround himself with a nearly indestructible nanoshield’.

Other details are thin on the ground at the moment, although more info is promised from Game Informer over the course of the month.
The reveal is independent of the ongoing CantKillProgress channel Twitch, which is expected to end with a proper reveal of the game either today or tomorrow.

But if you can’t wait that long Russian magazine Kanobu has got a hold of early screenshots and artwork from the game, which match up with the assets used by Game Informer.
In other words it’s a typically messy unveiling, but everything so far is looking very impressive…
