
Battlefield Hardline was the best-selling game in America last month, but Bloodborne and Mario Party 10 both did surprisingly well.
There was never any real chance that Battlefield Hardline wouldn’t be the number one selling game in March in the US, since it’s multiformat across both generations of consoles.
But Bloodborne’s appeal is clearly not as niche as some would suggest and it came in with a solid second place and, perhaps most surprisingly, was the second biggest launch ever for a PlayStation 4 exclusive.
That puts it second to the underwhelming inFamous: Second Son, but means that it beat the vacuous good looks of the more recent The Order: 1886.
