
Konami’s PS2 classic has been re-released on PSN, as GameCentral offers a retro review of it and the modern state of 2D shooters.
We’re not sure exactly what logic publishers use when adding older games to PSN but after a reader request to start a new series of retro reviews it seemed that Gradius V would be the perfect place to start. It’s just been added this week, and it raises many interesting questions about the current state of both publisher Konami and developer Treasure. It also happens to be one of our favourite ever 2D shooters.
