The PlayStation 4 is selling faster than even the record-breaking PlayStation 2, as it’s confirmed as the fastest selling console of 2015.
An average of 44,600 PlayStation 4 consoles have been sold every day since it was first released in November 2013. That’s one every two seconds, although we’re sure things are a lot quicker than that around Christmas.
Normally sales figures for the UK are not released for any console, so there’s not much to compare this with – other than apparently it reached the figure even more quickly than the PlayStation 2.
