
Grand Theft Auto V has hit a new milestone, as Rockstar’s parent company implies that plans for new story content have changed significantly.
Only yesterday we were reporting on the fact that Grand Theft Auto V has sold over 5 million copies in the UK alone, at which point we noted that the global sales stood at 45 million as of February.
But now Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive has revealed that that number has shot up to ‘nearly’ 52 million. That’s starting to get close to Minecraft’s total of around 65 million, with only bundled game Wii Sports ever having sold more – at around 83 million.
