The Beeb’s attempts at making a film about Grand Theft Auto are under threat from Rockstar, who have just launched a lawsuit.
The last we heard Harry Potter and Hudson from Aliens were all signed up to star in the BBC’s Game Changer, a one-off 90 minute drama about the making of Grand Theft Auto and the Hot Coffee controversy over GTA: San Andreas.
But it seems as if Rockstar Games aren’t as keen on the idea as everyone assumed, as parent company Take-Two Interactive has issued a statement complaining of trademark infringement by the BBC.
