Capcom has given the green light to a remake of PlayStation classic Resident Evil 2, and it’s all thanks to the fan support.
You can stop the petitions and Twitter campaigns: Capcom has finally agreed to remake Resident Evil 2, as you can see from the video below.
Only two weeks ago Capcom were polling fans on Facebook about whether they were interested in a remake, and what form they’d like it to take.
A few days after that producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi (‘H’ to his friends) revealed that he’d submitted a proposal to Capcom high command and already it’s been given the go ahead.
