
Magneto himself has donned the Assassin’s garb for the first time, as the blockbuster series prepares to hit cinemas next year.
In the last few weeks we’ve had the appealingly awful Pixels and Hitman: Agent 47, but for some reason Hollywood still hasn’t given up on making video game movies.
The Assassin’s Creed film isn’t based on any of the games in particular, but instead features X-Men and Prometheus star Michael Fassbender as the modern ancestor of a 15th century Spaniard named Aguilar.
The rumour is the plot centres around the Spanish Inquisition, with Inception’s Marion Cotillard and The Wire’s Michael K. Williams also believed to have roles.
