Bungie are now offering an instant way to gain a new level 25 character in Destiny, but it’s the most expensive ‘microtransaction’ yet.
Remember the Spark of Light you got free with Destiny: The Taken King? Well, now you can buy as many as you want for the princely sum of £24.99.
Although there’s been plenty of controversy about Destiny’s microtransactions before they’ve always been cosmetic additions like dancing emotes or simply extra in-game currency. None have interfered with the gameplay, and it’s hard to see how this one counts as doing so either.
