An official UK price for Valve’s virtual reality headset has been announced, and pre-orders are set to start this afternoon.
The HTC Vive is undoubtedly the best of the three high-end VR headsets, but although it’s an even more immersive experience than Oculus Rift and PlayStation VR it’s also more expensive.
The US price was announced recently as $799, but although that’s £560 it doesn’t include sales tax or import duties. We guessed at the time the UK price would be around £700, and that’s exactly what it is.
