The subject for this weekend’s Inbox was suggested by reader 84Colbat, inspired by the increasing lack of offline options, particularly split-screen, in modern multiplayer games. So we wanted to know how important you think offline multiplayer is to gaming and how you’d encourage more of it.
The obvious classics, such as Mario Kart and Street Fighter, were mentioned multiple times, with many people saying they preferred local multiplayer – even as they admitted that online gaming was more accessible and easier to organise.
