Just to make Nintendo’s week even worse, Sony’s latest financial results have shown just how far the House of Mario has fallen.
During the height of the Wii’s success Nintendo was the third most valuable company in the whole of Japan, now it’s been revealed that it makes less money than just PSN alone.
For the 12 months ended March 31, the PlayStation Network, including subscriptions and online purchases, made ¥529.1 billion (£3.4bn), while Nintendo as a whole made just ¥504.4 billion (£3.2bn).
